Background and PROCESS

ATIGIP asked Amurabi to redesign a 60-page Tutor's Guide that was well designed graphically, but failed to engage users. This guide is linked to the implementation of Community Service (TIG), offering advice to tutors in their mission to accompany people sentenced to perform TIG.

We knew that if this document, although visually appealing, lacked engagement, it was because it hadn't been designed with user needs in mind. So we made this our main objective. We organized a meeting with the department to present our objectives, and conducted interviews with tutors of various profiles to gather information on what they considered relevant. We also explored the online platform that would complement the guide. Based on this feedback, we simplified the content to keep only the essentials, and redesigned the layout to improve navigation. The final version is now just 17 pages long, which has considerably improved user-friendliness and tutor engagement.
