Background and PROCESS

Users are often confronted with lengthy, jargon-filled privacy policies, which discourage them from reading them. Bumble, with its diverse user base in terms of age and region, needed a policy that was easy to understand and interactive. The challenge was to design an online policy that allowed users to quickly access the information they needed, while remaining clear and compliant with regulations such as the RGPD. Bumble was looking to offer a modern, digital solution with a simple, intuitive user interface.

Results

The new privacy policy is now interactive and available online, with an easy-to-navigate table of contents. This allows users to quickly find the information they're looking for, without having to scroll through long pages of text. This interactive approach helps users better understand how their data is used, making the policy more transparent and accessible. This builds trust and encourages users to make informed decisions about protecting their data.
