Expleo wanted to publish a new Anti-Corruption Code of Conduct that was not only accessible, but also engaging and applicable on a daily basis by its employees. The company faced a major challenge in attracting the interest of its employees. One of the main challenges was the need to arouse their interest: the existing document was perceived as long, full of jargon, and devoid of clear meaning. Management didn't want it to be seen as a mere administrative tool, nor did they want it to project a distant or accusatory image, risking disengagement or a defensive posture.
The information overload on the first few pages was a major obstacle. The lack of clarity and relevance made navigation difficult, prevented the rapid identification of concrete answers, and discouraged appropriation of the document. The ambition was therefore to create a code that employees would want to read, understand and apply, while covering all the essential compliance risks and requirements.
Amurabi has designed this new Code with an emphasis on clarity, simplicity and concrete examples from everyday business life. We wanted it to be accessible, engaging and genuinely useful. Every element - from the tone used to the visual design - has been designed to anchor the document in employees' reality. We gave it a real raison d'être, explaining why compliance matters, and doing so in a way that was relevant to the internal audience.
The structure has been redesigned to offer clear, actionable content, with intuitive navigation enabling the right information to be found quickly. By designing a document that is both useful and accessible, we have transformed the Code of Conduct into a tool of trust, fostering a culture of compliance that is both concrete and embodied. Intuitive and pragmatic, it enables employees to skim it effortlessly, retain the key messages and adopt the right behaviors on a daily basis.
