Amurabi, legal design agency

The Team

We are a diverse and multidisciplinary team of designers, lawyers, neuroscience experts, user researchers and project managers, all passionate about human-centered legal innovation. We are all entrepreneurs and doers, motivated by our goal of bridging the gap between the law and its users, thereby strengthening democracies.

Marie Potel-Saville

Founder & CEO

Marie Potel-Saville combines more than 15 years of Magic Circle experience at Freshfields and Allen & Overy in London, Brussels, Paris and General Counsel EMEA at Estée Lauder Companies and Chanel, as well as a Master in Innovation by Design (ENSCI).

After seeing the results of Legal Design in her own legal division, she founded Amurabi to share its potential: more than a theory, it is a tool for empowerment. She is also a lecturer at Sciences Po Paris, Singapore Management University, Assas and contributes to social service initiatives (access to justice, civic education, prevention).

If the law were an object, it would be a stele. a stele.

Scott

Senior lawyer

Scott combines his passion for people with his wide range of international experience to advance the law whenever he can. After studying in the United States, England, and Paris, he holds bachelor's degrees in psychological sciences from Kansas State University and the University of Hertfordshire, a J.D. from Chicago-Kent College of Law, and a master's degree in European law from the Université Panthéon-Assas in Paris. Since graduation, Scott has worked in university admissions, law firms (including data protection, employment law, and personal injury), and as a lawyer for a technology startup.

These experiences allow Scott to approach his work at Amurabi with a human-centered approach, which he believes is how every component of the law should be approached. The law affects everyone on a daily basis, so it needs to be tailored to individuals, not to rules we follow "because that's the way it's always been done." Scott is excited to work with the great team at Amurabi to achieve this goal, and make the law more accessible and fair, one project at a time.

If law were an object, it would be a secret family recipe

If the law were an object, it would be a precious stone

Isabelle

Senior Ux Designer

After working for more than 10 years as a UX Designer on various projects (connected application for the French Ministry of the Armed Forces, secondary driving screen for Renault Trucks, connected watch application for HelloBank, etc.), Isabelle joined the Amurabi team as a senior UX Designer.

Isabelle attaches great importance to human interaction, she likes to create simple and elegant paths in close collaboration with the user.

Thanks to her generalist training at the Gobelins school, Isabelle's expertise covers design workshops, functional prototypes, as well as the different phases of user research.

If the law were an object, it would be an armor

Guillemette

UI Designer

Industrial designer specialized in graphic design, brand identity and UI, Guillemette graduated from ENSCI - Les Ateliers. After three years in innovation consulting, during which she learned to analyze human behaviors, and after writing her thesis on scientific popularization, it is quite natural that she joined Amurabi with the desire to make complexity accessible to the greatest number.

If the law were an object, it would be a parachute

Camille

Senior Designer

A graduate of the École Nationale Supérieure des Arts Décoratifs de Paris (ENSAD), Camille has worked as an art director and graphic designer, regularly working in the cultural, event and luxury sectors. She has always been interested in objects, their forms and the multitude of meanings that can be attributed to them. In addition to understanding how a communication can be born between individuals and objects, the designer has a certain sense of context, he is able to identify and anticipate formal solutions because he is used to creating uses in his own productions and establishing new approaches. It is this search for clarity and precision that led her to embark on legal design.

If the law were an object, it would be a Rubik's cube

Rita

Chief happiness officer

Born a sheepdog, Rita decided to change careers to become Chief Happiness Officer at Amurabi.

Concerned about the well-being of the team, Rita makes sure that every employee can play with her or scratch her belly.

If the law were an object, it would be a bone to gnaw
